Canes Injuries Mount...Hurricanes Looking To Move Up |

Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon said junior defensive tackle Dwayne Hendricks is out for the season and that junior defensive tackle Antonio Dixon could be finished as well. They suffered lower-leg injuries in the past two weeks. Redshirt freshman defensive tackle Josh Holmes, who was reinjured last week in practice, is questionable.___Shannon also said RB Charlie Jones and LBs Romeo Davis and Glenn Cook are out for the season. Freshmen Robert Marve, a quarterback, and Jermaine McKenzie, a wide receiver, injured in a summer car accident, will be redshirted. Senior WR Lance Leggett is expected to also miss the FSU game. ___After Miami's second straight loss last Saturday, the Hurricanes are 12-11 in their last 23 games.
