Comedian and talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, announced that she and her life parter, Portia de Rossi, are going to get married. The announcement was made during an episode of her daytime talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show. This comes after the California Supreme Court ruled in favor of same-sex marriages on Thursday. Conservatives are already working to put a constitutional amendment on the ballot in November, in order to make the ruling invalid and ban gay marriage. In the meantime, Ellen, 50, and Portia, 35, continue to make plans for their big day. As of now, a wedding date has not been revealed. The two have been together since 2004.
