What people are talking about this morning ... The YES Network could be for sale, as Fortune magazine reports, and that has drawn questions as to whether the Yankees themselves might be up for sale. Sadly, in an upcoming Cond Nast Portfolio article, Franz Lidz writes that Yankees owner George Steinbrenner "looks dreadful" and may be losing it in his old age. Pete Rose said some strange things at a U.S. Army Reds Legends Baseball Camp. (Via Deadspin) UNLV basketball coach Lon Kruger underwent successful open-heart bypass surgery Thursday. I'm sure Kruger is relieved after seeing what happened to Wake Forest head coach Skip Prosser last week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both families.
