Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery Secretly Wed ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Ellen Pompeo and boyfriend/music producer Chris Ivery secretly tied the knot last Saturday at New York's City Hall where Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as their witness. Also in attendance, a city clerk, who performed the minutes-long ceremony, and First Deputy Mayor Patti Harris. The couple got engaged and married on the same date (November 10th) which also happens to be Ellen’s birthday. Chris, you sly dog, you just combined three dates in one.
