I didn't bother watching this ESPN Town Hall Meeting on Michael Vick (did anyone?) because what happened was very predictable. Blind fans refusing to bring logic into the discussion and merely cheering what they wanted to hear, and booing what they didn't. This exchange above sums up the Town Meeting best. One attendee asks about the comparison between Michael Vick's punishment and Bill Belichick. For the 3,000th time, despite what you might think about dogfighting personally, the crime he committed was a FEDERAL OFFENSE. The crime Bill Belichick committed is classly and sleazy, and only violated the NFL's code of conduct. Vick supporters are not only blind, but deaf. [ Full article ] |
