I love beer |

One of the advantages of not working is the time you get to spend drinking beer. Well, maybe not you exactly, but I’m sure enjoying it. Like everything else of course, the price of beer has gone up, especially the good stuff. It’s all the hops and that’s what the makes the good stuff better. And I only drink the good stuff. I refuse to drink Bud, Coors or Miller. Those are corporate beers for employables who don’t know understand that beer doesn’t need to taste like regurgitated sasparilla. The Belgians leave a sweaty after taste in my mouth. Stouts are for crazy people. Hefeweizen are good on occassion. I tend to drift toward the Pales Ales. So, this afternoon, as I sat realizing that phone wasn’t going to ring and I was tired of checking my e-mail every 10 minutes, I decided to go have a beer at the local tavern. I ordered myself a Sierra Nevada, and the bartender broke out a “new” beer from Budweiser called American [ Full article ] |
