Michael Vick Begins Prison Sentence Early |

In the months since NFL star Michael Vick was accused of the most despicable acts cruelty on dogs I had ever heard of, the former NFL star quarterback showed up at jail on Monday to start his prison sentence, early. Of course, there is speculation all over the place as to why Vick would turn himself into prison before he was forced to go and I really don't have an opinion as to his reasoning or do I frankly care if this man ever sees the light of day as a free man again. For once the criminal justice system seems to be taking a hard-line on criminal activity that involves cruelty to animals and so far the NFL has done the right thing as well. From my point of view, any man that would treat a defenseless animal in such an inhumane way would do the exact same thing, or worse to a fellow human being if given the chance and the right set of circumstances.It has taken me months to calm down enough to even write about my feelings toward Michael Vick and the illegal and inhumane acts that he [ Full article ] |
