Vegas hometown heroes John Paul DeJoria and Ed Brown, who run the giant Patron tequila empire HQ'd here, sponsored a unique star-studded celebrity sports weekend that raised hundreds of thousands of charity dollars! The four-day fun-filled fiesta, held at Paradise Village in Neuvo Vallarta, Mexico, challenged the celebrities with a volleyball tournament, golf, a high-speed Yamaha Waverunner ocean challenge course and a tough final nine poker tournament table presided over by Mimi Rogers. It pitted our hometown world champion, Phil The Unabomber Laak against his ladylove actress, Jennifer Tilley until she was KO'd by NYPD Blue star, Dennis Franz and then it was down to the two men. It was all to benefit the Dream Foundation which fulfills the last wishes of adults dying in tragic circumstances and Academy Award winning actress Marcia Gay Harden is a huge supporter.
