Jones was just enjoying his Thursday night soccer league with the business associates (a game between teams "Fulhundred" and "Pizza by Elizabeth"), when someone prick referee decided to give him a red card! Ummm, dude... we're playing Pizza by Elizabeth over here... the league leaders? Let the athletes play man! The nerve of this ref. Don't fret though, homeboy had what was coming to him:A player who was angry Thursday about being thrown out of a Glasgow soccer game for unsportsmanlike conduct bit the chin of the referee, police said.The referee was holding a blood-soaked towel to his face at about 8 p.m. when police arrived at the Weiss Parkland at 150 Aspen Ave., according to Cpl. Trinidad Navarro of New Castle County police.When the towel was removed, the referee -- who was not named -- had two deep lacerations on his chin, [ Full article ] |
