CNN.com has a video of a clearly emotional Nancy Grace introducing her tiny babies to viewers and sharing a little of her birth story, which sounds extremely harrowing. After her very early emergency C-section, Grace was allowed to see her babies just a few seconds before they were whisked off for medical care. I know from personal experience that this is a horrific way to start out as a mother. Being a new mom is scary enough, but being a new mom who isn't allowed to see or hold the baby you've waited a lifetime to meet is a special kind of torture. Seeing Grace getting choked up remembering how she barely had time to touch her daughter brings it all back: the worry, the wondering if it was something you did, the anger, then the guilt over the anger because how dare you feel ripped off when some babies die and everyone keeps assuring that yours
