PaRappa the Rapper, UmJammer Lammy and Vib Ribbon creator Masaya Matsuura talked in an interview with 1UP about his last Tuesday newly released iPod music rhythm game Musika. But he also talked about the return of the PaRappa the Rapper series! Mr. Matsuura seems upbeat about the rapping dog coming back, especially given the renewed interest caused by the PSP port of the original. Here’s what he had to say. Question: Now that PaRappa’s come out for the PSP, are you interested in doing another PaRappa game? Answer: Of course, PaRappa was made 10 years ago. [The gameplay style] is a little different in Musika than PaRappa. If I had a chance to make another PaRappa for some hardware, of course I would love to do that. Question: Has Sony expressed any interest? Answer: Of course, they have. Question: What’s stopping you from going forward with a new game?
