When I was at Digital Life I ran across Gelaskins, from Toronto, Canada. They make adhesive skins for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPods in general and various laptop computers. I have to tell you that there is only one way to describe this stuff: drop dead gorgeous!!! According to them the skins are made of an automotive material that the auto industry specifies should last for 3 years. In addition Gelaskins adds its own protective coating over the designs. One very neat thing is that when you buy a skin you get a free wallpaper that can be downloaded from the site. Unfortunately, the press kit contains a skin for the iPod Touch and it doesn't fit my iPhone very well, so I can't comment on how it works with the phone. I can say that installation, and removal, are pretty simple. The skins are designed so that they leave no residue when removed.
