Filed under: Browns, Ravens, AFC North, Cleveland, BaltimoreWith Cleveland trailing 30-27 with just :03 left in the game, Browns' kicker Phil Dawson attempts a game-tying 51 yard field goal. The kick had enough distance, but hit the left upright ... then the crossbar ... then landed in the endzone. The two officials looked at each other and ruled it no good.The two teams shook hands, players were leaving the field, and those pesky press guys were wandering on the field. At that same time, the officiating crew were chatting in the same endzone that the ball had landed. CBS replays showed the kick had actually went over the crossbar and hit the extension on the other side ... then fell forward into the endzone. One would think that if the ball went through the goal and hit something on the other side that it would be a good attempt.After several minutes, the referee Peter Morelli announced that they were going to take a look at kick.
