Filed under: Rams, St. LouisRams quarterback Marc Bulger sent a message yesterday when he skipped a mandatory team meeting, and it may have worked. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that Bulger is expected to sign a six-year contract extension today that will pay him just over $10 million a year, with $20 million guaranteed. Bulger had one year remaining on his current contract. Bulger turned 30 in April, so there's a good chance he won't see all six years of this deal, and there's no breakdown available yet of how much of the money is back-loaded. But a $20 million guarantee seems like a reasonable deal for both sides. The Rams also signed first-round draft pick Adam Carriker today, so everyone is under contract.Permalink Email this Comments [ Full article ] |
