Wannabe Biggies (click on image for their names) ( Photographs by Nicole Bengiveno / The New York Times ) Over the weekend, nearly 100 people turned up at an open casting call for “Notorious,” a biopic of the rapper Christopher G. Wallace, better known as Biggie Smalls or Notorious B.I.G. For a few months now Biggiecasting.com has been trying to find the right person to play the infamous rapper and according to his mother, Voletta Wallace, it has become a big task. Finding Biggie is going to be a task in itself. Anyone who felt that they can fill that shoe, can do that swagger, can try the lyrical tone, I'm welcoming them, Ms. Wallace said.
