Cricket is such a popular sport in India that one may almost say, playing the game and watching it being played comes naturally to most of us. Village children in the middle of nowhere can be seen slamming hand made balls with rough wooden bats to hit and cows to field. Towns are better off with cricket grounds and professional coaching academies. The metros have stadiums where International matches are played. Many young Indians dream of becoming Sachins and Rahuls. India and Sports These youngsters are champs in their own right, because they learn to play good cricket sometimes without even looking at the game on television.
