Details about this year's Galway Film Fleadh Pitching Award have been announced.Applicants write and submit a 500-word story idea for screen, all received applications are read by a panel selected from the Irish film industry - and the best five are shortlisted. The five writers are contacted and invited to present their pitch to a panel of judges. This takes place in front of an audience during the Galway Film Fleadh. The Galway Film Fleadh presents the winner with a cheque for €3,000. The deadline for submissions is the 20th June 2008.
