Wonderful World of Disney Movies Go Online

I spent many an hour trying to convince my parents to let me stay up and watch TV as a kid and among those things I begged to watch was anything on the Wonderful World of Disney. When Tinkerbell touched her wand to the top of the castle and the Disney logo exploded on the screen, I knew I was in for two hours of sappy goodness like Pollyanna or Sleeping Beauty, and not going to bed. These were the days before DVR and online streaming of TV shows, of course. Kids no longer have one shot at watching their favorite show, and that now extends to Disney. For the first time, the company will offer full-length streams of the movies it shows on ABC each Saturday night for one week after their debut. The offer will continue throughout the summer, and kicked off this past weekend with Finding Nemo. Users can now watch Finding Nemo in its entirety on www.disney.com/wonderfulworld until June 13.
